October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As part of a county-wide education campaign, the Library will display books about domestic violence donated by the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence and the Battered Women’s Project. The exhibit also includes bookmarks, examples of additional resources available at the library, and information about recognizing and preventing domestic abuse. Please stop by the Library to learn more about domestic violence.

You will notice a new addition to the library the next time you walk in the front door. We now have flags of the United States and Canada located between the front doors. Hope you enjoy seeing the new additons.
